Greta sings Mina
The project started in early 2013 from the artistic meeting between Greta Panettieri, Andrea Sammartino, Giuseppe Bassi, Armando Sciommeri. Compliting the ensable Alfonso Deidda and Gaetano Partipilo. 'Greta Sings Mina' for the quality of Greta's vocals offer some absolutely original interpretations of the selected songs. |

Going from a scat ultra Bop version of the song 'Brava' where the theme is doubled by trumpet and vocals, to a rarefied and emotional arrangement of 'Il cielo in ulna stanza' with surprising harmonic changes and rhythmic shifts.
The immediate success of the project has prepared the ground work for a recording the 'Greta Sings Mina'.
With the extraordinary participation by Fabrizio Bosso, the album will be released at the beginning of the summer.

Greta's Bakery New album is rich with collaboration, for instance the one with Lerry Williams (saxophonist/keyboardist/producer), here covering the double role of artistic supervisor and guest saxophonist on 'My Angel' and the one with Curtis King Jr. (vocalist) that offered a magical duet with Greta on the song 'Lover'.
Worth of notice a wonderful reinterpretation of Michael Jackson's famous "I just can't stop loving you".

The album won the approval of the Italian Jazz Audience, it was in fact in first place on the Italian Itunes charts with the single 'Last Good-bye' and with the whole album 'Nu Joy' for over a month. |
