With Greta Panettieri
EXPLORE YOUR VOICE, UNLEASH YOUR CREATIVITY
The voice as an instrument, improvisation as a language, and music as a space for exploration and expressive freedom.
Greta Panettieri’s masterclass is a journey dedicated to discovering and developing one’s own vocal identity in jazz. Through work on technique, listening, phrasing and improvisation, participants are guided to explore new expressive possibilities, bringing together jazz tradition, personal creativity and musical awareness.
FROM TRADITION TO IMPROVISATION
Jazz language becomes a tool for developing interpretation, phrasing and creativity. Listening, studying the tradition and practising improvisation help each singer build an authentic, personal and recognisable musical language.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Develop technical and expressive awareness of the voice.
- Explore phrasing, timing, swing and jazz interpretation.
- Improve listening skills and musical interaction.
- Explore tools and strategies for vocal improvisation.
- Strengthen creativity and the ability to develop a personal musical language.
WHO IS IT FOR?
The masterclass is designed for singers, jazz voice students, musicians and performers who want to deepen their understanding of jazz and develop new expressive possibilities. The programme can be adapted to participants’ level and needs in agreement with the host organisation.
